Progress on Shoring and Excavation

    03-Jun-2006

The primary work appears to be shoring with steel beams being hoisted by crane and set into holes dug into the earth.

Other prepartions for shoring proceed around the site, while dewatering and some excavation work go on as well.

The men work through the day as temperatures soar to over 40 degrees Celcius.

In the evening machines continue to drill and pound into the sandy soil.
