Piling Work Continues

Signage at the MAG 218 construction site identifies MAG developer as Dream Estate Limited, as the company continues to brand itself and the project. Meanwhile, piling work by Arabian Forasol continues and the UAE based consultancy firm National Engineering Bureau (NEB) is brought onboard.

The photos which follow suggest that although excavation work appears to have been completed, a lot remains to be done before piling will be finished.

Piles of rebar lie on the site adjoining the MAG 218 plot, apparently being redied for casting into piles. A substantial amount of work lies ahead.

The excavation pit has been dug for sometime. What remains is for the vast amount of piles to be molded and embeded.

Existing municipality pipes cross a corner of the excavation pit. Presumably these will have to be relocated before the foundation is completed.

From a distance the MAG 218 site is visible with its new signage.

Below, construction of the No. 5 Sheikh Zayed Road interchange continues in the vicinity of the MAG 218 site.
